Junior Service Club of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Donates $40,000 to Spray & Play Park

Incoming (2015-2016) president, Danielle Dacus, of the Junior Service Club of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon presented a check to Bob Pfeiffer, director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Edwardsville, at the April 21 City Council meeting in support of the proposed Spray & Play Park. The donation will be used to help fund the construction of the park’s dry playground that will be built adjacent to the splash pad feature at the park. The Spray & Play Park will be located at Schwarz and Main streets near downtown in Edwardsville.

Mayor Patton Announces "A Better Place to Play" Campaign at Press Conference

At a press conference this morning, Edwardsville Mayor Hal Patton and the executive committee announced “A Better Place to Play” campaign today that will fund three projects being considered for Edwardsville’s recreation. The proposed projects are a Spray & Play Park, an Ice Rink/Teen Center and a multi-use Sports Park.
